We are all particularly sensitive to the skin. We hate any blemishes, wrinkles or imperfections on our skin. But skin problems are plentiful and today I will be talking about one such common skin problem. Skin tags are small bumps or bumps on the skin commonly found on the face, neck, arms, and chest. They are mostly harmless, but can be annoying, especially if you have a significant amount on your face. For understandable reasons, people want to remove their skin tags. If you don’t want to get a cosmetic procedure from a dermatologist, you can try these gentle, safe and effective home remedies for removing skin tags from your face.
1. Vitamin E
The main reason for skin tags is aging. This can be taken care of by applying vitamin E oil. Gently massage the vitamin E oil on the tag and the surrounding areas. With a regular app, you can quickly find your disappearing tag.
2. Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil is a powerful treatment for these unwanted fleshy growths. Soak the Q-tip in tea tree oil and hold against the skin tag for a few minutes. Do this 2-3 times a day. If your skin is very sensitive, you can mix it with a carrier oil to prevent irritation from undiluted oil. By doing this, you should be able to heal your skin tags in just a few weeks without any cosmetic intervention.
3. Banana peel
Whether you love eating bananas, the benefits are incredible. Not only for supple skin and shiny hair, you can remove skin tags using a humble banana peel. Cut off a piece of banana peel, apply it directly to the skin tag (s) and secure with gauze or bandage. This night mode will allow the tegu to fall soon.
4. Apple cider vinegar
Wash and dry the area around the tag and apply some apple cider vinegar using a cotton ball. Keep it on for about 10-15 minutes and rinse it off. Repeat the process 2-3 times a day until the tag dries and falls off. Avoid using ACV around the sensitive eye area.
This wonderful herb is antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory. Freshly removed garlic juice can work wonders in reducing your skin tags from your face. Apply at night, cover with a bandage and rinse off in the morning. In just a few weeks, the tag will shrink and disappear.
6. Oregano oil
Topical application of oregano oil helps remove skin tags completely. Mix a few drops of this oil with coconut or almond oil, apply to the tag and let dry. Wash and repeat twice every day. With persistent effort, you will have smooth skin without any skin tags.
7. Nail polish
As ironic as it sounds, nail polish can help you banish skin tags forever. Apply a layer of bright nail polish to your tag and let it dry. In the evening, repeat it with fresh wool. The nail polish appears to shut off the air supply, causing the tag to dry out and fall off. Don’t try this on very sensitive areas like the eyelids and around the lips. Try this for a maximum of two weeks, and if that doesn’t work, see a dermatologist.
8. Liquid iodine
It can be a little risky, but it saves you costs and makes it difficult to remove clips. Topical application of iodine can completely eliminate skin tags. However, the area around the tag should be protected with coconut oil to prevent iodine seepage.
These home remedies can work wonders, but definitely do a patch test to see if the ingredients are right for you. If you experience any persistent irritation or notice a discoloration, see your doctor
